Pro-Ject Audio Systems was founded by Heinz Lichtenegger 1990 in Vienna, with the idea that analogue playback is the most costeffective way to listen to music of audiophile quality. Inspired by the concept of supporting analogue in the face of the digital onslaught, Pro-Ject Audio Systems became one of the most powerful driving forces in reinventing analogue turntables for the hi-fi market. Today, Pro-Ject Audio Systems is the world leader in the manufacture of quality hi-fi turntables, as turntables are once again accepted as a must-have for every concerned music lover. Pro-Ject Audio Systems’ products are exported to almost 80 countries worldwide and is the recipient of nearly every award in the audio industry.

The new Elemental table is a real “plug’n’play” all the way. No adjustment of counterweight and antiskating is needed, because both are pre-adjusted. This new straight ultra low mass tonearm is optimised for Ortofon OM cartridge series.
The hidden secret to the new table’s sonic success, is a central gravity mass point, made from artificial stone and placed directly underneath the platter bearing. It is capable to fully absorb unwanted rumble and motor vibration. This turntable appears to be pure simplicity itself, while maintaining high quality audio standards
-Belt drive system
-Integrated motor control with DC power supply secures silent running
-Central gravity mass point made from artificial stone
-Main platter bearing made from stainless steel runs in bronze bushing with Teflon bottom
-Low resonance particle board platter with felt mat
-8,6” ultra low mass tonearm with straight arm tube
The new Primary "plug & play" turntable from Pro-Ject is super easy to use without any need of counterweight and anti-skating adjustment. Simply connect it to a phono preamp or amplifier with phono preamp using the pre-mounted interconnect cable with gold-plated RCA plugs. Then, just add vinyl.

The new DEBUT Carbon DC was designed to set new standards in this category for the coming decade – perfectly timed as analogue today is again a respected source, while the demand for good turntables is growing again!
The most obvious improvement is the inclusion of a CARBON TUBE for the tonearm, which increases stiffness and decreases unwanted resonance. This material normally is extensively used in high-end tonearms, but – because of cost reasons – was never used in products at lower price levels. Together with other improvements like an increase in platter size and weight to realize even smoother rotation, the overall sound quality is greatly improved. The approved belt drive design offers low noise AC motor with effective motor decoupling (utilizing TPE-damping) and ultra precision frequency DC-driven AC generator (like Speed Box) for ultimate speed stability without unwanted vibration.
